Description

Stacked Glass supply fully frameless and semi-frameless glass balustrades systems which are economical, practical, safe and by far today’s most popular choice for stair balustrades, for garden fencing, pool fencing, decking, patio and balconies.

Why use glass balustrades?
Balustrades add a lightness and modern touch to your home or business. The transparency of the glass allows for unobstructed views, making them suitable for staircases and balconies.
Beyond the aesthetic of glass balustrades, they are also secure and durable. Our glass balustrades can also come in frameless or semi frameless designs, giving you a range of options to suit your style.

Additional Information

FAQs on Balustrades

What thickness glass balustrade do I need?
The glass thickness that you will require will entirely depend on the type of property you are looking to install glass balustrades in. Once the glass has been installed, it should not be able to move over 25mm when a certain level of force is applied to it.

What is the cost of glass balustrades?
The cost of glass balustrades can vary depending on certain factors, such as the thickness of the glass, the size, and the customisation options available. Stacked Glass offers fair and reputable prices on all our products, ensuring our customers receive top quality products without breaking the bank.

How long do glass balustrades last?
Both the metal and glass provided with glass balustrades will last many years. Given the quality of the glass provided, it is recommended you maintain the glass balustrade in order to get the most longevity possible. To avoid discolouring on the metal, clean it with a stainless steel cleaner.

Can you fit a glass balustrade by yourself?
If you wish to perform this action yourself, DIY installation can be particularly challenging. This is because of the sheer weight and fragility of the glass and frame, alongside navigating the balustrade to fit and align accordingly. So, while it is possible with the knowledge and experience, it is recommended to contact industry professionals – like the team at Stacked Glass – to securely fit your glass balustrades.
